本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛从开始备考cpa到结束，从各论坛上得到很多非常实用的信息。今天上来冒一下泡，也算回报吧。
我只用了becker正版教材。觉得物有所值。每门看了差不多３遍，题也做了两，三遍。成绩很好。不是做广告，becker 客服也不错。问问题，一般当天就有答复。周末也是如此。如果没考过，可以只附材料费（大概是几十元）得到最新教材和软件。所以完全没有后顾之忧，专心学习。如果选on-line or live class format， 可以报税。最后用过的教材再处理了，所以实际支出在２０００元左右（original price 2.8K)。all in all, I think Becker is enough for the exams.
I think FAR is the most time consuming subject in terms of preparation time. The second one is REG. AUD and BEC are relatively easy. On the exam day, I had 4 seconds left when I finished FAR exam, and I sat there for 4 hours and didn’t move. I didn’t finish the second simulation of REG – I was asked to fill out a tax form that I had never seen. I don’t think I know how to do it even if I had time. But I think I finished 98% of the questions at least. I heard that some one who missed the entire second simulation passed. I had more than sufficient time for the other two exams. How long you need to prepare for each part totally depends on your background and how many hours you put in each week.
In terms of group study, I don’t think it will help much as each person is on his/her own schedule. Also, you don’t have to ask the easy questions. If the problem is hard, I don’t think others can help. But it may be helpful to exchange information.
Overall, I think the CPA exams are not that hard to pass but do take time to prepare. Or the other way around, if you take time to prepare, they are not hard to pass. Best luck to everyone on the journey! You can pm me if you have questions.
